In furtherance of that mission we've registered with Forest Stewardship Council, which require that the paper and wood used to make this box are 100% sourced from recycled wood fibers or reused materials.
The FSC certification also helps protect our forests and the workers that depend on them by:
(1) Requiring that trees are harvested responsibly so there is no net loss of forest over time;
(2) Ensuring all workers are provided with proper training, adequate safety protocols, and fair wages; and
(3) Requiring that local, indigenous communities are consulted and their legal land rights respected. Forests provide so much to our world in terms of materials and livelihood.
